From 29th July to 11th August representatives of P.M. Masherov Vitebsk State University participated in the international project ‘Summer Institute for Teachers and Researchers’ of Pskov State University.

The pedagogical forum ‘Homeland of the Firsts’ gathered mentors of the Union State of Russia and Belarus. More than 80 participants of the ‘Firsts’ movement were trained at the 3-day forum in the city of Smolensk, the ranks of which were joined by a delegation from VSU.

From 8 to 23 July, Denis Kitarov and Anastasia Borisova, students of the Faculty of Mathematics and Information Technologies of P.M. Masherov All-Union State University, took part in the International Project ‘Summer University’ in Kazan (Russian Federation). 

From 22nd to 27th July, Voronezh State University hosted the International Student Rally ‘Among Our Own: The Image of Future Partnership through the Eyes of Youth’. It was the second time that VSU students took part in the conference.

From the 8th to the 21st of July, 4 students of FM&IT, 2 students of FGIJAK and 11 students of FSPiP immersed themselves in the unique atmosphere of the Summer University programm in Krasnoyarsk. The educational project gathered a hundred Russian and more than three hundred foreign participants.

INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE «LAW IN THE DIGITAL AGE»

The final, but no less action-packed, day of the International Student Forum is underway at VSU. A joint exhibition of students' creative works opened in the Faculty of Fine Arts' exhibition hall.

From May 19 to 21, VSU is hosting the International Student Forum «We Are United by Culture», organized by Vitebsk State University and the Russian University of Traditional Arts and Crafts.

VSU HELD AN ONLINE OPEN DAY FOR STUDENTS FROM CHINA

VSU named after P.M. Masherov organized an Open Day remotely, targeting students from Hohhot Polytechnic University, with whom VSU has collaborated for over 18 years.

CONTEMPORARY TRENDS IN THE DIGITAL ECONOMY DEVELOPMENT WERE DISCUSSED AT VITEBSK STATE UNIVERSITY

On May 6, Alexey Shmatko, Director of the Institute of Regional Economic Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Economics, and Professor, spoke online to students of Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov in our university's conference hall.

On April 30, the VSU team set out on a journey, continuing the glorious and long-loved tradition of the annual «Roads of War – Roads of Victory» rally, together with a good friend of the university and the project's organizer, Eduard Tereshko.

Navruz, the celebration of the arrival of spring according to the astronomical solar calendar, is a national holiday in Turkmenistan. It symbolizes the awakening of new life and the return of warmth after a long cold spell.

VSU welcomed a delegation from St. Petersburg State University and the Centralized Library System. As part of the working program, a roundtable discussion was held on the exchange of best practices in teaching, research, and educational activities.

On February 24, the VSU Rector held talks with the leadership of the Russian University of Traditional Arts and Crafts. The goal was to discuss the prospects of organizing a joint International Student Forum.
