In 2023, the ranks of Vitebsk State University named after P. M. Masherov were joined by 16 students from Karakalpak State University named after Berdakh as part of the joint educational program "2+2". From the very beginning, the students successfully adapted to the new environment and began their education in the field of "Software for Information Technology.

Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov, represented by the first vice-rector of the university, Andrey Pavlovich Mekhovich, and the head of the youth educational department, Natalia Viktorovna Baydo, took part in the solemn reception on the occasion of the significant date - the 32nd anniversary of the Independence Day of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

From October 3rd to 6th, the Head of the International Department of the university, Y.S. Salahova, the Head of the Department of Pedagogy and Educational Management, N.A. From May 19 to 21, VSU is hosting the International Student Forum «We Are United by Culture», organized by Vitebsk State University and the Russian University of Traditional Arts and Crafts.
