On October 25th, the Spartakiad of universities of the Northwestern Borderlands started at the Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov within the framework of the 1st Russian-Belarusian Youth Congress on Physical Culture and Sports.

On October 20th, with the support of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, an International Scientific and Practical Conference for students, postgraduates, and young scientists, titled "XVII Masherov Readings," took place at Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov.

From May 19 to 21, VSU is hosting the International Student Forum «We Are United by Culture», organized by Vitebsk State University and the Russian University of Traditional Arts and Crafts.
