From August 4th to August 14th, Belarus is hosting the II CIS Games. As volunteers on the sports grounds in Vitebsk, students from VSU named after P.M. Masherov are actively involved. There are 24 students from the Faculty of Physical Education and Sports and the Faculty of Law.

Since August 2nd, competitions in boxing have been held in Orsha as part of the II CIS Games, with representatives from 10 countries participating. Teams from 7 countries worldwide are accommodated in the dormitory of Orsha College of VSU named after P.M. Masherov.

From July 27th to 30th, the festival " PSKOV OBLAST DAYS" is taking place in Vitebsk. As part of the official events of the festival, a roundtable discussion titled "New Formats of Cooperation between Border Regions in the Humanities" was organized in the conference hall of Vitebsk State University.
On May 21-22, the International Scientific and Practical Conference «Law in the Digital Age» is being held at VSU's Faculty of Law. Experts from Belarus and Russia discuss contemporary legal issues in the context of the transition to a digital civilization.
The final, but no less action-packed, day of the International Student Forum is underway at VSU. A joint exhibition of students' creative works opened in the Faculty of Fine Arts' exhibition hall.
From May 19 to 21, VSU is hosting the International Student Forum «We Are United by Culture», organized by Vitebsk State University and the Russian University of Traditional Arts and Crafts.
VSU named after P.M. Masherov organized an Open Day remotely, targeting students from Hohhot Polytechnic University, with whom VSU has collaborated for over 18 years.
On May 6, Alexey Shmatko, Director of the Institute of Regional Economic Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Economics, and Professor, spoke online to students of Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov in our university's conference hall.
On April 30, the VSU team set out on a journey, continuing the glorious and long-loved tradition of the annual «Roads of War – Roads of Victory» rally, together with a good friend of the university and the project's organizer, Eduard Tereshko.
Navruz, the celebration of the arrival of spring according to the astronomical solar calendar, is a national holiday in Turkmenistan. It symbolizes the awakening of new life and the return of warmth after a long cold spell.
VSU welcomed a delegation from St. Petersburg State University and the Centralized Library System. As part of the working program, a roundtable discussion was held on the exchange of best practices in teaching, research, and educational activities.
On February 24, the VSU Rector held talks with the leadership of the Russian University of Traditional Arts and Crafts. The goal was to discuss the prospects of organizing a joint International Student Forum.
