The opening of the laboratory of virtual and augmented reality took place at the faculty of mathematics and IT of Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov on October 23. The new IT educational center is the result of successful cooperation between the faculty and the leading IT company INNOWISE GROUP.

Every year, students from different countries come to VSU named after P. M. Masherov for higher education. Turkmenistan, China, Nigeria, Syria, Ghana… For many students during their studies, the University becomes a second home, where they are truly loved and appreciated.

On March 3, the grand final and the awarding ceremony of the republican contest “100 Ideas for Belarus” took place in Minsk. In the ninth season of the competition, more than 500 young men and women aged 14 to 31, as well as young scientists under 35 took part.

On March 4 the first open competition of national cultures, creativity and beauty "Grace INTERNATIONAL" was held at the concert hall "Vitebsk". VSU was represented by two students: student of the Faculty of foreign citizens training Juan Putzi and student of the Faculty of Philology Natalya Drachikova.

Website of VSU was awarded the 1st degree diploma in the category “The best website of a higher educational establishment” at the 18th International Specialized Exhibition “Education and Career” in Minsk.

INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE «LAW IN THE DIGITAL AGE»

From May 19 to 21, VSU is hosting the International Student Forum «We Are United by Culture», organized by Vitebsk State University and the Russian University of Traditional Arts and Crafts.

VSU HELD AN ONLINE OPEN DAY FOR STUDENTS FROM CHINA

VSU named after P.M. Masherov organized an Open Day remotely, targeting students from Hohhot Polytechnic University, with whom VSU has collaborated for over 18 years.

On May 6, Alexey Shmatko, Director of the Institute of Regional Economic Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Economics, and Professor, spoke online to students of Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov in our university's conference hall.

On February 24, the VSU Rector held talks with the leadership of the Russian University of Traditional Arts and Crafts. The goal was to discuss the prospects of organizing a joint International Student Forum.
