On January 24th, a delegation from the Chinese company Beijing Zhaongbai Business Management Co. Ltd visited Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov. The honorable guests were welcomed with an exhibition of works by Chinese students and a tea ceremony.

Rector of Vitebsk State University named after P. M. Masherov Valentina Bogatyreva, took part in the Fifth Forum of the Association of Universities of Russia and Belarus, which took place on January 24-25 at Lomonosov Moscow State University.

From December 17 to 21, at the invitation of Voronezh State University named after P.M. Masherov, a delegation of representatives from the Volgograd State Technical University visited the Vitebsk region on a business mission.

On January 16th, a round table event "Theoretical Issues and Applied Aspects of Linguistics in the 21st Century" started at the Vitebsk State University dedicated to the celebration of the anniversary date of the birth of the legendary scientist, Doctor of Philology, Professor Valentina Avraamovna Maslova.

Valentina Bogatyreva, the Rector of VSU, took part in the award ceremony of the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to gifted Belarusian youth studying Chinese language, which took place on December 18th in Minsk, on the basis of the Belarusian State University of Physical Education.

From May 19 to 21, VSU is hosting the International Student Forum «We Are United by Culture», organized by Vitebsk State University and the Russian University of Traditional Arts and Crafts.

VSU named after P.M. Masherov organized an Open Day remotely, targeting students from Hohhot Polytechnic University, with whom VSU has collaborated for over 18 years.
