Оn November 26-30 during the project BELL «Improvement of Continuing Education in the Republic of Belarus» within the program Erasmus+ a group of scholars of Vitebsk State University attended a training course at Carl Linnaeus University (Vaxjo, Sweden).

On December 12, 2018 V International Scientific and Practical Conference of Students, Undergraduates and Young Scientists «Youth of the XXI Century: Education, Science, Innovation» was held at the VSU named after P. M. Masherov.

On the 4th of December the 1st International Sportlandia among students and teachers of the VSU named after P.М. Masherov was held in the gym of the main educational building. The competitions were held at the highest level.

On the 11th of December, Vitebsk State University met representatives of the Karelian Research Center of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The purpose of the visit was the signing of a cooperation agreement between the organizations and the holding of a round table discussions with scientists and faculty.

Since early morning, in the hall on the first floor there was a festive bustle. The festivity started with the action “Interactive Map: Happy Birthday, our dear university!”, when everyone could write their wishes for the university on the map.

INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE «LAW IN THE DIGITAL AGE»

From May 19 to 21, VSU is hosting the International Student Forum «We Are United by Culture», organized by Vitebsk State University and the Russian University of Traditional Arts and Crafts.

VSU HELD AN ONLINE OPEN DAY FOR STUDENTS FROM CHINA

VSU named after P.M. Masherov organized an Open Day remotely, targeting students from Hohhot Polytechnic University, with whom VSU has collaborated for over 18 years.

On May 6, Alexey Shmatko, Director of the Institute of Regional Economic Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Economics, and Professor, spoke online to students of Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov in our university's conference hall.

On April 30, the VSU team set out on a journey, continuing the glorious and long-loved tradition of the annual «Roads of War – Roads of Victory» rally, together with a good friend of the university and the project's organizer, Eduard Tereshko.

On February 24, the VSU Rector held talks with the leadership of the Russian University of Traditional Arts and Crafts. The goal was to discuss the prospects of organizing a joint International Student Forum.
