During the implementation of the BELL project “Improving Further Education in the Republic of Belarus” under the program Erasmus + 03.09 – 07.09.2018 an internship was held in the Open University of Milton-Keynes, United Kingdom.

March, 21 the 6th admission-free, interacademic, city festival “NAWRUZ - 2018” took place; it was based on the educational institution Vitebsk State Academy of Veterinary Medicine. Foreign students of VSU have also participated in these festivities.

Polotsk college, the affiliate of Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov, held a unique training workshop from Gallery Teachers.

Valentina Bogatyreva, vice-rector of the VSU, have signed a contract with IBA Institute. The other side was represented by its Rector, co-founder, PhD in Engineering sciences, Associate Professor Diubkov Vladimir.

According to the updated international rating of Webometrics, which was published in January 2018, Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov ranks the 13th among the universities of the Republic of Belarus and the 1st among Vitebsk region universities.

INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC AND PRACTICAL CONFERENCE «LAW IN THE DIGITAL AGE»

On May 21-22, the International Scientific and Practical Conference «Law in the Digital Age» is being held at VSU's Faculty of Law. Experts from Belarus and Russia discuss contemporary legal issues in the context of the transition to a digital civilization.

From May 19 to 21, VSU is hosting the International Student Forum «We Are United by Culture», organized by Vitebsk State University and the Russian University of Traditional Arts and Crafts.

VSU HELD AN ONLINE OPEN DAY FOR STUDENTS FROM CHINA

VSU named after P.M. Masherov organized an Open Day remotely, targeting students from Hohhot Polytechnic University, with whom VSU has collaborated for over 18 years.

On May 6, Alexey Shmatko, Director of the Institute of Regional Economic Problems of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Economics, and Professor, spoke online to students of Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov in our university's conference hall.

On February 24, the VSU Rector held talks with the leadership of the Russian University of Traditional Arts and Crafts. The goal was to discuss the prospects of organizing a joint International Student Forum.
