On the eve of the tragic date – the 85th anniversary of the start of the Great Patriotic War – the opening of the exhibition «Women – Victims of the Genocide of the Soviet People during the Great Patriotic War» took place.

On June 16, the 10th meeting of SCO education ministers took place in the Belarusian capital. During the SCO University conference, a cooperation agreement was ceremoniously signed between VSU and Peoples' Friendship University of Russia named after Patrice Lumumba.

On June 3, a delegation from Shandong Agricultural University arrived at Vitebsk State University named after P.M. Masherov to hold talks aimed at developing international inter-university cooperation and implementing activities in the fields of education and science.

Participants of the International Literary Campaign «The Soul of the People in the Works of Poets and Writers» from higher education institutions in the Republic of Belarus and the Russian Federation gathered for an online meeting to summarize the campaign's results.

Representatives from the Moscow Social and Pedagogical Institute visited VSU on May 26 to discuss prospects for interuniversity cooperation in science, education, culture, and youth policy.

In the new episode of Valentina Bogatyreva's program «Visiting the Rector» we hear from Valentina Fedorovna Maksimovich, President of the Russian University of Traditional Arts and Crafts, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Professor, and Academician of the Russian Academy of Education.

On May 21-22, the International Scientific and Practical Conference «Law in the Digital Age» is being held at VSU's Faculty of Law. Experts from Belarus and Russia discuss contemporary legal issues in the context of the transition to a digital civilization.

The final, but no less action-packed, day of the International Student Forum is underway at VSU. A joint exhibition of students' creative works opened in the Faculty of Fine Arts' exhibition hall.

From May 19 to 21, VSU is hosting the International Student Forum «We Are United by Culture», organized by Vitebsk State University and the Russian University of Traditional Arts and Crafts.

VSU named after P.M. Masherov organized an Open Day remotely, targeting students from Hohhot Polytechnic University, with whom VSU has collaborated for over 18 years.
