On January 28, a delegation from the Shandong Industrial Vocational College (China) visited VSU named after P.M. Masherov. During the visit, university leadership met with college representatives to discuss potential cooperation.

On January 22, students and postgraduates of the Faculty of Education took part in the opening of an exhibition of traditional Chinese painting in the gongbi style as part of the activities of the "Imknenne" Scientific and Pedagogical Complex.

For the first time in the history of VSU, employees of the Department of Fundamental and Applied Biology – Associate Professor Evgeny Derzhinsky and Senior Lecturer Vladimir Kotsur – received the Academician V.A. Koptyug Prize.

VSU continues to actively develop international cooperation. A significant milestone in this regard was the online talks held this week between VSU representatives and the leadership of Gazi University in the Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

"Psychological Aspects of Intellectual and Emotional Reflection in Participants in the Educational Process" was the title of an international roundtable discussion held at the Faculty of Social and Pedagogical Sciences on December 10th.

On December 1st, the 16th International Youth Festival «Peterhof Ball of Cultures» took place in Peterhof. This vibrant festival takes place every year and always attracts many participants and guests.

On November 29, Suihuan University hosted an international seminar on special education entitled «Diversity and Innovation – High-Quality Development of Inclusive Education».

From November 19 to 21, the International Stage of the youth project “100 Ideas for the CIS” was held in Astana (Republic of Kazakhstan) as part of a meeting of the Council on Youth Affairs of the CIS Member States.

As part of the Pskov Region Days in our region and the celebration of the 115th anniversary of VSU, Vitebsk State University discussed issues of preserving historical memory and preventing the distortion of facts about the Great Patriotic War.

On November 20, one of the events in the series of anniversary events dedicated to the celebration of the 115th anniversary of Vitebsk State University was an open lecture by Doctor of Economics, Professor, and Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Vladimir Okrepilov.
